Aragonès travelled to Glasgow to participate in the Under2 Coalition General Assembly, a congress held for subnational governments under the framework of COP26, the United Nations climate change conference.

The president also met with the governor of Washington state, Jay Inslee, and was greeted on arrival to the summit by the Catalan government’s representative in the UK and Ireland, Sergi Marcen.

Aragonès’s diary for COP26 includes addressing the Under2 Coalition General Assembly on Sunday to talk about energy and infrastructure and meetings on Monday with the President of Corsica, Gilles Simeoni, and the President of the Assembly of European Regions, Magnus Berntsson.
