“Only dictatorships jail peaceful political leaders”

A new banner appeared yesterday at the Camp Nou in the match between Barça and Sevilla, side by side to the cassical “Freedom” banner that has been there for months. This is another example of how FC Barcelona fans show their support to Catalan political prisoners.

Those banners add to the chants in favour of independence that sound in each home games at minute 17 and 14 seconds, in remembrance to the Catalan defeat of 1714 against the Franco-Spanish army.
