[VIDEOS] Police attack protest demonstrations all over Catalonia

Spanish and Catalan riot police attacked pro-independence supporters in Barcelona and other major towns like Girona, Tarragona and Lleida on Tuesday night, on the second day of widespread protests against the sentencing of nine Catalan pro-independence leaders.

Several rallies called to reject the verdict descended into turmoil as Spanish and Catalan police officers charged against protesters, who in turn responded by throwing objects at them and setting barricades on fire.
